After pitching a shutout against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the preseason finale, the Jacksonville Jaguars will focus on putting together the best possible 53-man roster before cutdown day. They'll have to make several though decision, as several players flashed throughout the preseason but still came up short.

It's also worth noting that, unlike other years, cutdown day won't be on the Tuesday after the preseason finale, and will instead take place Sunday, just a couple days after the Jags played their last game.

This means that the Jaguars will have less than 48 hours to trim down their roster after the Buccaneers game. With this in mind, here's a look at how the roster is taking shape, and the cuts in the aftermath of the Buccaneers game. Also, this tracker will be updated constantly, so you should bookmark it.

Notable Jaguars cuts

Potential waiver wire targets from around the NFL

Maybe the Jags could look for a backup quarterback (Will Levis)? Stetson Bennett would be someone to keep an eye on.

Jacksonville could also add reinforcements at defensive tackle or perhaps bring in an offensive lineman.
