The Jacksonville Jaguars are riding a six-game winning streak after beating the Denver Broncos. They'll have a chance to extend it to seven when they play the Indianapolis Colts in Week 17. However, the Jags should expect resistance from their AFC South foe, as a loss would eliminate them from playoff contention.
Then again, the Jags will also be incentivized to come out on top not only because they would sweep Indianapolis but also because a win would allow them to keep up in the race for the No. 1 seed in the AFC. And precisely for that reason, don't expect Jacksonville to take its foot off the pedal. Quite the opposite.
Head coach Liam Coen will find a way to motivate the team, probably by pointing out how they only got one Pro Bowl selection in 2025. Of course, it helps that Indianapolis had to bring back Phillip "Ol' Man" Rivers out of retirement to keep their playoff hopes alive after Daniel Jones suffered a season-ending injury.
