The Jacksonville Jaguars beat the New England Patriots in Week 7 and are now 2-5 for the season. But as encouraging as the win was, they still have a long way to have a realistic shot at making the playoffs. That could prompt them to be sellers ahead of the November 5 trade deadline. Some of their players could garner interest, and Alex Ballentine of Bleacher Report believes the Cleveland Browns could be fit for one of them.

Ballentine drew up a list of needs for all AFC teams after Week 7, and had Jacksonville trading offensive tackle Walker Little to the Browns, pointing out that injuries have depleted the Cleveland offensive line, and they could use a boost at tackle.

"This was the pick a few weeks ago for the Browns, but we are going to revisit the idea. The Browns' offensive line took another blow this week with Nick Harris being placed on injured reserve a week after James Hudson III was also placed on the list. The Browns offense is ugly, and it isn't all Watson's fault. The offensive line has been devastated by injuries and is one of the worst pass-blocking units in the league."

The Browns are currently 1-6 and looking to salvage their season. They're the only team that's yet to score 20 points in a game. To make matters worse, they lost starting quarterback Deshaun Watson to a season-ending ACL injury.

While Dorian Thompson Robinson filled in for Watson at first, Jamies Winston is probably the next man up at quarterback. He might provide a spark that Cleveland was lacking with Watson as the starter. But for that to happen, they must give him help. That's where Little could come in handy.

Little can play on both sides of the offensive line. A second-round pick in the 2021 draft, he's made 17 start for the Jags and has generally fared well. Against the Patriots, the former Stanford Cardinal stepped in at left tackle when Cam Robinson left with a concussion. On 20 pass-blocking snaps, he didn't allow a single sack or a pressure. The Jags didn't miss a beat and went on to score 32 points.

The Jaguars can afford to trade Walker Little, Jameis Winston would appreciate it

Walker Little is set to become a free agent in 2025 and his base salary of $1.5 million makes him an appealing trade candidate. The Jacksonville Jaguars could afford to move him due to the presence of Cam Robinson and rookie Javon Foster. That said, they may not be willing to trade him until Robinson clears the concussion protocol.

But for the sake of the argument, let's say the Jaguars get Robinson back before the deadline, they could then afford to trade Little. Given that there could be a demand for his services, Jacksonville could maybe get a fourth-round pick, maybe a conditional third. The team's brass should not settle for anything less than a fourth.

Imagine the Browns do show interest in acquiring Little. The Jaguars could trade him if they don't plan to re-sign him next year. Javon Foster would then become the primary backup at offensive tackle, and if he shows that he isn't up to the task, the front office could easily add depth at the position with the pick they get from Cleveland.

This is to say that by trading Little, the Jacksonville Jaguars would get to see what Foster can do while acquire assets to replenish the offensive line. All things considered, that's a pretty solid trade.
