The Jacksonville Jaguars are mostly healthy ahead of their Week 8 matchup against the Green Bay Packers. However, they could be without their starting left tackle for a game that could have severe implications for the Jags.

Cam Robinson suffered a concussion in the win over the New England Patriots and is listed as questionable for Week 8. He was cleared for practice but has yet to clear protocol.

Head coach Doug Pederson had told the local media early Friday that the veteran left tackle had cleared the protocol, but Michael DiRocco of ESPN, among other reports, clarified later the same day that Pederson had misspoken, noting that Robinson had been cleared for practice but not concussion protocol.

The Jags would surely like to have Robinson for Week 8, but if he isn't cleared, Walker Little will be making his first start of the season.

Little was pressed into action when Robinson left Week 8. A second-round selection in 2021, he's generally fared well when called upon, giving up just two total pressures on 20 pass-blocking snaps this season.

Apart from Robinson, linebacker Foyesade Oloukun (foot), running back Travis Etienne (hamstring), defensive tackle Esezi Otomewo (calf), defensive tackle Maason Smith (ankle), and safety Andrew Wingard (knee) popped up on the injury report.

Oluokun and Wingard were on Injured Reserve but had their 21-day practice window activated after Week 7. Pederson says that Etienne, Oluokun, and Wingard will probably be game-time decisions.

"ETN, we'll push him today, see where he's at physically before we make a decision," Pederson told the media when asked about Etienne's availability. "Probably game time... Foye had a really good week, trending in the right direction. Optimistic that he'll be able to step in and play. We'll see where he's at today, and tomorrow... Dewey's the same. Had a good week of preparation, good week of practice."

Pederson continued, "I think it's good for both those guys to get back out there. And again, we'll see. I gotta see today, really, quite honestly, where he's at, and then make a decision, probably at least by tomorrow, but when we turn in the turn, or at least have an idea of as far as any standard elevations."

On the opposite sideline, linebacker Quay Walker is in concussion protocol and listed as questionable for the game. Defensive tackle Devonte Wyatt and center Josh Myers also got the questionable tag. Reserve cornerback Corey Ballentine has been dealing with an ankle injury and got the doubtful designation.

With or without Cam Robinson, the Jaguars have a chance against the Packers

Cam Robinson has bounced back after struggling early in the season, giving up just two total pressures the past four weeks. Then again, Walker Little should be able to hold his own. The same is true for linebacker Ventrell Miller, who's been filling in for Foyesade Oluokun the past four games.

The Jaguars are currently a 4.5-point underdog and looking to stay afloat. They've won two of their last three games and beating the Packers would boost their chances of potentially making a playoff push.

Ultimately, the Jaguars must show up and play, regardless of who's available. Otherwise, they will probably have to say goodbye to their playoff chances.
