The Jacksonville Jaguars will tentatively be getting reinforcements for their Week 6 matchup against the Chicago Bears. After missing the last four games, tight end Evan Engram is slated to return to the starting lineup.

Engram is listed as questionable for the game, but head coach Doug Pederson has expressed confidence in his potential return for the London game.

"In Evan's case. It looks like he's been trending good. He had a good week of practice," Pederson told the local media. "We'd lean towards him playing in this game."

Evan suffered a hamstring injury during warmups just before the Week 2 contest against the Cleveland Brown. He's been unavailable ever since. In the opener, the former Ole Miss Rebel had one reception for five yards. While that's far from an impressive statline, the Jags will surely be glad to have him back in the fold.

After all, Engram has been one of the Jaguars' most productive players since he signed with them in 2022. The past two years, he hauled in 187 receptions for 1,729 yards with eight touchdowns. On top of that, his 1,0009 yards after catch were the second most among tight ends in the league in that span.

It's not hyperbole to say that having Engram against the Bears would be huge, even if Brenton Strange has fared well in his absence. With that in mind, here are three predictions for Week 6.

Evan Engram will have 5 catches and 2 TDs for the Jaguars

One area where Jacksonville has struggled early this season is scoring in the red zone. The Jaguars have taken 18 trips to the end zone but have scored a touchdown just eight times. That's not the kind of success you want your offense to have. Evan Engram can help with that.

Engram gives the Jags a massive target, and Trevor Lawrence will waste no time looking for him against the Bears. In the end, the veteran tight end will show how much he was missed by scoring two touchdowns at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

The offensive line will once again give up no sacks vs. the Bears

The Jaguars offensive line got plenty of flak early in the season and rightly so. The first four games, they allowed a concerning 46 total pressures and 11 sacks. Maybe the bigs up front heard the noise because they turned it around in the win over the Indianapolis Colts, giving up just one total pressure and no sacks. Heck, Jacksonville ranked second in the league in pass protection in Week 5.

The offensive line will follow that up by once again keeping Trevor Lawrence's jersey clean and giving up no sacks for the second straight week.

The Jaguars will only surrender 10 points to Caleb Williams and the Bears

While the offense has done its part the past two weeks, the defense has left much to be desired. Sure, Ryan Nielsen's unit registered its first turnover of the season in Week 5 but it still has a long way to go. Currently, the Jags rank 30th in points allowed. Their Week 3 performance against the Buffalo Bills is surely a stain they'll have a hard time removing but they weren't particularly great in Weeks 4 and 5 either. That will change against Chicago.

Even though cornerback Tyson Campbell is still unavailable, Jacksonville's defense will figure things out in the backfield and will be able to contain Caleb Williams. Travon Walker and Josh Hines-Allen will do their part and rattle the rookie quarterback throughout most of the game. That will lead to the Bears scoring only10 points.
