The Jacksonville Jaguars are coming off arguably their biggest win this season, beating the Denver Broncos 34-20. Moreover, they clinched a playoff berth after the Indianapolis Colts lost to the San Francisco 49ers on Monday Night. Having said that, the Jags still have work to do with two games left on the schedule.
If Jacksonville wants to seize the AFC South and have a shot at potentially getting the No. 1 seed in the conference, it'll have to run the table. That includes beating Indy in Week 17. With this in mind, here are the odds for the upcoming divisional bout: Can the Jaguars pull off a sweep?
Odds for the Jaguar game vs. the Colts at Lucas Oil Stadium
The Jaguars already beat the Colts once this season, but the outcome the past game doesn't have a bearing on the next one. Moreover, they'll now play at Lucas Oil Stadium, so Jacksonville won't have a home-field advantage.
On the other hand, Indianapolis has lost five in a row even though they brougth in Philip Rivers out of retirement, while the Jags have dominated the past six weeks. Not surprisingly, they're favored to win the game.
According to DraftKings Sportsbook, Jacksonville is a 6.5-point favorite with a moneyline of -330. Bet $330 on the Jags and win $100 if they beat Indy for a total payout of $430. The Colts' moneyline sits at +265. Place a wager of $100 and win $265 if they come out on top for a total payout of $365. The over/under for the game is set at 47.5 points.
Keep in mind that odds are periodically refresh, so they can change at any moment.

Bold Travis Etienne prediction for the Jaguars game vs. the Colts in Week 17
Travis Etienne didn't make the Pro Bowl. However, he's playing at a high level for the Jaguars, proving that his underwhelming 2024 was an outlier and not a sign of things to come. In 15 games, he's toted the rock 229 times for 99 yards with seven touchdowns. On top of that, the former Clemson Tiger has added 270 yards on 33 catches with six touchdowns. Simply put, he's become an integral piece of the Liam Coen offense.
In fact, the coaching staff kept feeding Etienne the ball despite the fact that the Broncos did a good job of containing him, limiting him to 3.1 yards per carry. Next, the Jaguars will face a Colts defense that had no answer for All-Pro Christian McCaffrey, who racked up 21 carries for 117 yards.
Granted, Etienne isn't nearly as talented as McCaffrey but is no slouch either, so expect the Jaguars to give him as many touches as possible. The fifth-year running back will make the most out of them and post his best game of the season.
Etienne totaled 156 yards from scrimmage in the season opener. He'll have an even better game against the Colts. Bold prediction: 160 total yards with 3 touchdowns (2 receiving, 1 rushing)
