The Jacksonville Jaguars were favored to beat the Indianapolis Colts in Week 8, but nobody would have imagined just how much of a blowout it would be, with the Jags easily cruising to a 42-7 win. The downside is that head coach Liam Coen and his team won't have much time to rest (or enjoy the victory) because they'll next face the Baltimore Ravens on a short week.
Jacksonville will be shorthanded for the Thursday Night matchup after losing DaVon Hamilton and Eric Murray to injuries in the win over the Colts. Then again, Baltimore will also be without Lamar Jackson after placing him on the Injured Reserve. Similarly, backup quarterback Tyler Huntley may not be able to play because he also sustained a toe injury in Week 8.
Unless the Ravens trade for help behind center, 2026 undrafted free agent Joe Fagnano could get the starting nod against on Thursday Night. This begs the question, do the Jaguars have a legitimate shot at beating Baltimore? With this in mind, here are the odds and a bold Bhayshul Tuten prediction for the Week 9 matchup.
Odds for the Jaguars at the Ravens on Thursday Night Football
The Jaguars are an 8.5-point road favorite for Thursday Night, with a moneyline of -410 precisely because Lamar Jackson won't suit up, according to DraftKings. Bet $410 on them and win $100 if they beat Baltimore for a total payout of $510. The Ravens' moneyline sits at +320. Place a wager of $100 and win $320 for a total payout of $420 if they pull off the upset.
The over/under for the game stands at 43.5.

Bold Bhayshul Tuten prediction for the Jaguars vs. the Ravens in Week 9
Bhayshul Tuten was having a good season, having proven that he was a more than capable replacement for Travis Etienne. However, the former Virginia Tech Hokie truly took off against the Colts, toting the rock 16 times for 104 yards with a touchdown and reeling in two catches for 55 yards with a touchdown. As Dan Griffis of Action News Jax noted on Twitter, he's on pace to rack up 1,634 yards and 15 yards from scrimmage.

For his part, Liam Coen was pleased with Tuten's outing against Indy, noting that he was more patient and showcased the ability to break tackles. Rightly, his Pro Football Focus grade of 90.4 was the highest among Jaguars players.
Having caught fire in Week 8, Tuten will once again have a dominant showing against Baltimore, amassing 140 total yards and three touchdowns on Thursday Night.
Granted, Baltimore's run defense is a bit better than the Colts'. However, that won't stop Tuten from having a great showing under the spotlight and helping the Jags win their sixth game of the season.
