The Jacksonville Jaguars beat the Houston Texans in Week 3 but missed Dyami Brown to a shoulder injury in the divisional bout. So far, head coach Liam Coen hasn't provided any meaningful updates about the fifth-year receiver's availability in the upcoming weeks.
That said, Browns' absence in practice and subsequent appearance on the injury report could be a sign that he won't be available against the San Francisco 49ers in Week 4.
Dyami Brown was listed as non-participant on Wednesdays' injury report
Mia O'Brien of ESPN Radio reported that Dyami Brown was the only player who didn't partake in the team's open portion of practice. Not surprisingly, he appeared as a non-participant on Wednesday's report. On the other hand, she noted that rookie running back Bhayshul Tuten wore a non-contact jersey.
Tuten's availability for the 49ers game shouldn't be a reason for concern, though. After all, he also popped up on Week 3's injury report but ultimately was a full-go against the Houston Texans.
Aside from Tuten, Ezra Cleveland (ankle), Patrick Mekari (elbow), and rookie Wyatt Milum (knee) got the limited designation. Brian Thomas Jr. also popped up but was a full-go. Below is the full injury report:

The Jaguars have options if Dyami Brown can't go vs. the 49ers
The Jacksonville Jaguars would surely want Dyami Brown to play in Week 4. After all, if they want to beat the 49ers, they'll have a better chance with all hands on deck. Having said that, Jacksonville will have options in case the former North Carolina Tar Heel isn't good to go.
The Jags traded for Tim Patrick just before the start of the season, but it wasn't until Brown got hurt in Week 3 that he got meaningful playing time. Patrick is a sixth-year veteran who could fill the No. 2 or 3 receiver role in the passing game. Parker Washington could have an extended role in light of Brown's absence.
After logging a combined 34 offensive snaps the first two weeks, Washington tallied 50 against the Houston Texans. The one thing to keep an eye on is whether the former Penn State Nittany Lion will line up inside or outside, but there's no doubt that he's in a position to contribute, even if he had two drops against the Texans.
It's worth noting that Travis Hunter is in the mix, but Liam Coen made it clear that his usage won't change despite Brown's potential absence.
Again, the Jaguars would love to have Dyami Brown against the 49ers, but the cupboard won't be fully bare in Week 4.
