Kicker Cam Little has dealt with a few funks throughout his career but has come up clutch when the Jacksonville Jaguars needed him the most. His jaw-dropping 60-yard field goal to tie the game 31-31 late in the fourth quarter is proof of it.

Although the Jags ultimately came up short against the Houston Texans, Little didn't play a role in the 34-31 loss. If anything, he gave them a chance. And the week before, he nailed the game-winning field goal against the Philadelphia Eagles.

And that's the thing. Jacksonville is winning and the former Arkansas Razorback is a big reason why. Heck, it's kind of odd that he's not been discussed as one of the top 3 kickers in the NFL right now.
Cam Little is a superb kicker but fails to crack the top 5 in the NFL kicker power ranking
Adam Fromal of FanSided ranked all kickers in the NFL after six weeks. He likes Little a lot but placed him at No. 6, citing his three misses (two field goals and an extra point) and his kicker value of 2.96 (13th best in the league) as the reasons.
"The man with the NFL's strongest leg is so close to having much stronger numbers," Fromal wrote. "Cam Little has missed thrice in 2026: a 70-yarder that had the distance but stayed mere inches outside the right upright, a 54-yarder that failed to navigate a heavy crosswind (and was his first career miss from the middle of the field) and a PAT gone awry that was really the fault of backup long-snapper DaVon Hamilton."
Fromal continued, "The Jaguars will live with those results, especially because Little is also the NFL's leader in clutch KVA thanks to a 60-yarder that tied the game in the final two minutes against the Texans and a 57-yarder that completed the miraculous 'Eight Seconds in London' comeback."
In case you were wondering, Will Reichard got the top spot in the ranking. Spencer Shrader and Chase McLauren finished second and third, respectively, while Brandon Aubey and Ka'imi Fairbairn took the No. 4 and No. 5 spots.
Reichard, Shrader, and Mclauren have yet to miss a kick this season, while Aubey fell to fifth place after starting the season with the top spot. If Little continues to nail his kicks, it should be a matter of time before he moves up into the top 5, maybe even the top 3, as he should.

The Jaguars wouldn't change Cam Little for another kicker
There's no doubt that the Jaguars wouldn't change Cam Little if they were given the option. After all, he's been as reliable as they come since his rookie season, completing 89.3 percent of his attempts, including 17 field goals from 50 yards out.
For his part and with enough time to process the frustrating loss to Houston, head coach Liam Coen stated that Cam Little, pointing out that his ability to deliver in the clutch allows the team to be aggressive.
"Yeah, it's a huge part of it. Look, every decision like that, it's a coach's decision. I ended up doing that, and there's always hindsight, and you look at all right. We don't get it," Coen told the local media (6:12 mark). "We're gonna need to stop either way. If we go down and you're down by six points, now we got to go score a touchdown. I felt like we had just got the turnover. Maybe we put a little pressure on them on the other side of the ball, but he gives you so much confidence to be able to be in those moments."
Coen continued, "Regardless of and the game and the half, like you feel like you got a shot, and that's why we were able to be aggressive at the end of the half was to try to put us in a position to get points. And he's such a weapon, it sometimes makes some of these decisions challenging when you have a guy that's so dynamic that he can make kicks from so many different spots on the field. But very proud of Cam in the last really the last few weeks that he's had just continues to give us a chance to win."
When add it all up, can you blame Coen for feeling that way about Little?
