The Jacksonville Jaguars faced the Houston Texans in Week 6. While the Jags struggled with drops — mostly because the rain made the field slippery — and were hindered by questionable penalty calls, they managed to keep up with their dreaded divisional foe.

And after trailing through most of the game, Jacksonville managed to tie the game 31-31 with Cam Little's 60-yard field goal late in the fourth quarter. However, the Texans had more than enough time to answer with a field goal of their own to win 34-31.

Make no mistake, the Jaguars gave their all and made things interesting until the end but ultimately weren't able to stick a fork in Houston. With this in mind, here are 4 winners and five losers from the heartbreaking Week 6 loss.

Winner: Bhayshul Tuten, running back

Early in the game, Bhayshul Tuten was robbed of a touchdown by a phantom holding penalty on Brenton Strange. However, he didn't care and had a 27-yard touchdown reception later in the second half.

Just before halftime, the former Virginia Tech Hokie scored again, this time reeling in a two-yard pass that briefly gave Jacksonville a 14-10 lead. Shockingly, he finished the game with just 39 yards on 12 carries, but his four catches for 48 yards with two touchdowns turned out to be huge.

Loser: Brian Thomas Jr., wide receiver

You have to credit the coaching staff for giving Brian Thomas Jr. opportunities despite his struggles. However, he continues to come up short. Against the Texans, he had two drops, one that could've moved the chains and another one that would've put the Jaguars in field goal range just before the half.

In his defense, other receivers dropped catches throughout the game, but Thomas definitely hurt his team. Trade speculation will only go up after the loss.

Winner: Parker Washington, wide receiver

Parker Washington had a few drops against Houston, something uncharacteristic of him. However, Trevor Lawrence didn't stop targeting him, and you can understand why. Despite the slippery conditions on the field, No. 11 managed to make several big plays.

Washington finished the game with four receptions for 64 yards.

Loser: Travis Hunter, cornerback

Travis Hunter was having a strong season. Heck, there was chatter that it wouldn't matter if he didn't play offense as long as he kept thriving at corner. However, No. 12 ran into a speed bump in Week 6.

Hunter lined up against Nico Collins and gave up a touchdown. He did a good job of following him early on, but he eventually hesitated and fell behind, which allowed Collins to complete a 42-yard grab that would later help Houston score.

Early in the second half, the Jaguars' defense forced Houston to punt, but because Hunter stayed on the field, Jacksonville was flagged for having 12 players on the field, allowing the Texans to remain on the field.

Having said that, Hunter reemeded himself with an end-zone interception of Stroud late in the game, so he gets a bit of a pass.

Winner: Travis Hunter, receiver

While Travis Hunter the corner struggled at times, Travis Hunter, the receiver showed why the Jags haven't given up on the two-way. The former Colorado Buffalo saw an uptick in playing time on offense and made the most of it.

His 26-yard grab in the second half, in particular, stood out because he missed tackles and gained lots of yards after contact. Early in the fourth quarter, No. 12 scored his first touchdown of the season. Jacksonville needs to keep feeding him the ball. He finished the game with four catches for 54 receiving yards.

Losers: Jarrian Jones & Jourdan Lewis, cornerbacks

Just before halftime, C.J. Stroud found Jaylin Noel for a 50-yard grab that set up a Texans touchdown just a few plays later. Jarrian Jones was in coverage. It was a well-placed pass, but that doesn't fully exonerate him.

Like Jones, Jourdan Lewis was also a victim of Noel. Lewis was assigned to Noel in the end zone early in the second half and gave up a touchdown to make it 24-14. Props to Noel, who crossed the 100-yard mark on four catches.

Winner: Cam Little, kicker

For the second week in a row, the Jaguars needed him, Cam Little came up clutch. This time, though he didn't kick a walk-off field goal.

His 60-yard was impressive nonetheless, but the Texans had more than enough time on the clock to kick their own field goal to win the game.

Loser: The Jaguars' pass rush

While the Jaguars cornerbacks had trouble containing C.J. Stroud, they didn't get much help from the pass rush.

Stroud had plenty of time to throw because the Jags were unable to bring the heat. They weren't able to register a sack and had only two quarterback hits, one by Ventrell Miller and the other by Josh Hines-Allen. The pass rush was supposed to be one of Jacksonville's strengths this season, but it allowed Stroud to go 24-of-34 for 312 yards with three touchdowns and just one interception.

The Jaguars need to strongly consider bringing in pass-rush help at the trade deadline.
