Donny started his sportswriting career at Masthead Publications in 2001, covering high school sports for five different schools in Upstate New York. From there, he moved to Jock Report. This was the Drudge Report of Sports, where he wrote headlines for the website. In 2007, Donny started working for Examiner.com covering the Binghamton Senators (AHL), and Binghamton Mets (Double-A Eastern League). After moving to Central Florida, Donny continued to work for Examiner.com, covering the Brevard County Manatees (Florida State League High-A) in 2015 and 2016. During the 2015 baseball season, 27Outsbaseball.com gave Donny the chance to write and edit articles for their website. The Manatees articles moved over to 27outsbaseball after Examiner.com shut down in July of 2016. Donny has owned and operated his own website covering college sports at Florida Tech since August of 2016.
