One of the biggest storylines that took place when the Jacksonville Jaguars played the Carolina Panthers was a delay caused by a thunderstorm. The game eventually resumed, and the Jags won 26-10. Next, they'll take on the Cincinnati Bengals, and while they're a 3.5-point underdog, they have the weather going in their favor.
According to NFLWeather, it will be around 81-85 degrees Fahrenheit when the Jags play Cincinnati in Week 2. On top of that, the sky will mostly be clear, with the chance of rain being 11 percent. Simply put, the conditions won't be a determining factor in the outcome of the game. If anything, it will allow Jacksonville to lean on Trevor Lawrence and the passing game to try to win.

The Jaguars can beat the Bengals but certain things must fall in place
Of course, the Cincinnati Bengals will also benefit from the favorable weather, but the Jacksonville Jaguars will have a legitimate chance to pull off the upset. For that to happen, several things will need to happen.
Travis Etienne went off against the Carolina Panthers, racking up 16 carries for 143 yards. He needs to have another banner game against Cincy, and the Jaguars must commit to the run. That will prevent the Bengals from dropping extra defenders, which will, in turn, help Trevor Lawrence find more favorable matchups.
Speaking of Lawrence, he was unremarkable in the opener against, completing 61.3 percent of his throws for 178 yards with one touchdown and one interception. It's true that this is his first year in Liam Coen's system, but he'd better get acclimated quickly for the Jaguars to have a chance against Cincinnati, especially if this turns out to be a shootout. Having another strong performance from the offensive line will most definitely help.
On defense, Jacksonville must build off its dominant performance in the season opener. Aside from keeping Bryce Young under 200 yards, Anthony Campanile's group registered three takeaways. They'll need to put together a similar performance in Week 2. On top of that, the Jaguars will need to bring the heat: The Cincy offensive line allowed the fourth-highest pressure rate in the opener. The pass rush duo of Travon Walker and Josh Hines-Allen must take advantage of that matchup.
The bottom line is that the pieces are there for the Jaguars to come out of Cincinnati with their second win of the season. Having optimal weather doesn't hurt.
