Right after the Jacksonville Jaguars scored their touchdown against the Carolina Panthers in Week 1, the game was delayed because of a thunderstorm.

Heading into the game, there was a likelihood of a thunderstorm and rain. It wasn't a given that it would happen, but there was always a chance. Now, the game will be postponed until further notice. As of this writing, conditions aren't good enough to resume action, and players for both teams have already left the field.

Update: Jamal St. Cyr of News4Jax says the game could start at 2:40 ET plus a 15-minute warmup.

Updated No. 2: The game hasn't started, and it's started to rain.

Update No. 3: Specialists are back in the game, but there's no return time yet.

Update No. 4: The game will resume at 3:10.

And here's The Bank's announcement.

Before the game was stopped, the Jags were up 10-3. Cam Little nailed a field goal on the first drive. Later in the second quarter, Jacksonville put together an eight-play, 33-yard drive that ended with quarterback Trevor Lawrence connecting with tight end Hunter Long on a six-yard pass for a touchdown.

One of the reason the Jags had a short field to work with was that linebacker Foyesade Oluokun picked up Carolina quarterback Bryce Young.
