The Jacksonville Jaguars took care of business when they defeated the Tennessee Titans 25-3. They're now 7-4 and in first place in the AFC South. In Week 14, the Jags will have a chance to solidify their stronghold of the division when they welcome the Indianapolis Colts at EverBank Stadium.

And while both teams have an identical record, Jacksonville has plenty of things going in its favor. For starters, the game will be held at the Bank, a place where the Colts haven't won a game since 2014. Moreover, they'll be without defensive tackle DeForest Bucker and cornerback Sauce Garder. If that wasn't enough, Adam Schefter of ESPN just dropped a crucial Daniel Jones update.

The Jaguars will face an injured Daniel Jones in Week 14

Adam Schefter made an appearance on The Pat McAfee Show and said that Daniel Jones will have limited mobility in the Colts game, noting that he's dealing with a leg injury.

"I think it's a hairline fracture. And I think he compromises his lateral, you'll see that he has not been able to move laterally as much as he did earlier in the year, and they're not calling as many plays for him to run as they did earlier in the year, and it seems to be an issue in that regard," Schefter told host Pat McAfee. "Obviously, he's a full participant in practice. Obviously, he's going to play, but obviously, he's not going to play the same way that he's been playing. And I think that that has impacted their offense."

McAfee goes on to praise Jones' mental toughness, pointing out that it's not easy to play through that kind of injury.

Jones was a limited participant early in practice last week. He was ultimately cleared to play, but he most definitely wasn't 100 percent. Danny Dimes ended up completing a solid 51.9 percent of his throws for 201 yards with two touchdowns and one interception in a loss to the Houston Texans.

This doesn't mean that the Jaguars can take the Colts lightly, though. They still have running back Jonathan Taylor around. Although they haven't used them as much as they should in recent weeks, he's still a threat to break off a big run at any given time.

The Jaguars defense has a favorable matchup vs. the Colts and Daniel Jones

The Colts started the season strong but have lost three of their last four games. Daniel Jones' injury has certainly played a role in their struggles. He was playing at a high level, but his injury has prevented him from using his legs and moving the chains. That, in turn, has affected the Indianapolis offense.

This should give the Jaguars defense a favorable matchup. Again, they'll need to contain Jonathan Taylor, but the fact that Jones will have limited mobility will present favorable pass-rush opportunities.

The Jaguars have now won three in a row and will have a favorable chance to extend the streak to four in Week 14. Facing an injured Daniel Jones will most definitely help.
