The Jacksonville Jaguars played the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 4. Although the game came down to the wire, the Jags ultimately prevailed, winning 22-17 after stopping Cincy's comeback attempt in the fourth quarter.
The truth is that it wasn't pretty, and the contests wouldn't have been as lopsided if Jacksonville hadn't committed a head-scratching 13 penalties. However you look at it, that's simply too much, and the team will need to fix the issue if it doesn't want it to come back to haunt it.
Aside from that, the Jaguars will need better execution from a handful of players when they face off against the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 5. These three, in particular, come to mind.
3 Jaguars who must rebound vs. the Eagles after struggling in Week 4
Anton Harrison, offensive lineman
There's no doubt that Anton Harrison's transition to left tackle has been seamless, but Week 4 wasn't a good day for him. Against the Bengals' pass rush, the former Oklahoma Sooner gave up a team-high five pressures and one sack. Compounding the issue is that he was flagged twice.
It's possible that Harrison wasn't able to find a rhythm because Jacksonville played in a visiting stadium. Having said that, he needs to work on his fundamentals and techniques to avoid hurting his team.
Jarrian Jones, cornerback
While Travis Hunter had a strong outing against the Bengals, teammate Jarrian Jones was often targeted, and understandably so. Joe Burrow completed 14 of 20 passes for 170 yards when he targeted the former Florida State Seminole.
On the other hand, you probably won't find much criticism of Jones because many of those completions were in the fourth quarter when Jacksonville went into prevent mode and gave up yards in chunks. Moreover, the Magee, Mississippi native has played well this season outside of Week 4.
Still, Jones need to be tigher in coverage, something he's shown he can do.
Robert Hainsey, center
Like fellow hog molly Anton Harrison, Robert Hainsey also had an off day against the Bengals. Although the former Notre Dame Fighting Irish has been consistent since joining the Jags in 2025, he had trouble holding his ground in Week 4.
On 61 offensive snaps, Hainsey gave up two pressures and committed one penalty. He wasn't much better as a run blocker, posting an underwhelming Pro Football Focus grade of 36.0 in that department, the second-lowest score among Jaguars players in Week 4.
The silver lining is that this was seemingly an outlier for Hainsay, so bouncing back against the Eagles shouldn't be an issue.
