With an impressive performance against the Denver Broncos, Trevor Lawrence put to rest any questions about his ability to play like a top-10 quarterback. Throughout the game, the former Clemson Tiger routinely made plays with both his arm and his feet. The results were great, with the Jacksonville Jaguars winning 34-20.
After yet another impressive outing — this time against a legit opponent — Lawrence has begun to earn MVP consideration. That said, he was far from the only player who stepped up for the Jags.
This was a complete win, with Jacksonville dominating the Broncos in all three phases of the game. And with this in mind, here are other players aside from No. 16 who saw their stock surge in the win over Denver at Mile High.
Travon Walker, Jaguars defensive lineman
Back at Georgia, Travon Walker routinely lined up at several positions across the defensive trenches. When the Jaguars drafted him first overall in 2022, he switched to standup linebacker. The former Bulldog then went back to playing with his hand on the ground in 2024. With Anthony Campanile taking over the defense, he's once again showing that versatility that allowed him to wreak havoc at the line of scrimmage at the collegiate level.
In recent weeks, Walker has been lining up inside more often, and it's been working. Throughout the Denver game, he routinely disrupted the pocket. He didn't register any sacks but did log five total pressures and made a handful of impact plays.
I thought Travon Walker was fantastic for the #Jaguars on Sunday.

Campanile has been using him inside on pass-rushing downs more than any other Jaguars DC has, at least based on eye test pic.twitter.com/uY5TGXTazc
His Pro Football Focus overall grade of 72.1 was the second highest among Jaguars defenders in Week 16, only behind cornerback Montaric Brown. Speaking of...
Montaric Brown, Jaguars cornerback
Every week, Montaric Brown keeps making the case to get paid, and the Broncos game was no different. Aside from giving up just one reception for two yards on three targets, the fourth-year cornerback made a huge deflection that prevented Denver from scoring.
What a nice pass breakup by Buster Brown because he got beat bad pic.twitter.com/L0mKyxsUUM

Brown isn't flashy, but he'll get the job done. His PFF overall grade of 84.1 in Week 16 is proof of it. Sure, he was flagged for the hit on Pat Bryant, but it was a clean shot, so you cannot really fault him.
On a related note, Bryat was diagnosed with a concussion but otherwise is fine, so that's as good an update as we can get.
Parker Washington, Jaguars receiver
Aside from Trevor Lawrence, no player had a bigger impact in the win than Parker Washington. On a day in which the Denver defense did a good job of containing Jakobi Meyers and Brian Thomas Jr. and doing so while taking the run away, the former Penn State Nittany Lion came through, hauling in six receptions for a career-best 145 yards with a touchdown.
If Washington proved something in the win over the Broncos is that opponents will have to pick their poison when playing the Jaguars. Simply, Trevor Lawrence has no shortage of weapons, and if you zero in on one of them, he'll simply target somebody else.
