The Jacksonville Jaguars are a team that could use some improvements all over the field. Although they are developing into one of the elite teams in the league, they will need to make more moves this off-season to take another step.

It might be a good idea to make the defense the top priority as it needs more improvement than the offense. However, that doesn’t mean they can’t make a few small moves with the offense to improve it.

One chance that may be worth taking is Kenny Golladay. He was a star receiver at Northern Illinois University before becoming a great NFL receiver with the Detroit Lions. Because of those accomplishments, he earned a big contract with the New York Giants.

While with the Giants, however, he wasn’t very productive. As a result, they are letting him go so he is going to be a free agent that can go to any team in the league. In a depth role on the Jacksonville Jaguars, he might thrive and even surprise some people.

The Jacksonville Jaguars could use a receiver like Kenny Golladay this season.

If he can come in there and produce like a number two receiver while actually acting as the number three or four guy, that would really help this team grow even more. Adding him wouldn’t hurt the idea of improving the defense either because, as mentioned before, he will be cheap.

Trevor Lawrence is looking like an elite quarterback but he was only really good for one year. He still has work to do if he is going to be consistently considered among the greats in the National Football League.

Golladay was great at one point in his career. When he had Matthew Stafford on his team throwing him the ball, he was outstanding. When he was with Daniel Jones, his health was an issue but he also missed having an elite quarterback.

Lawrence would certainly be more like Stafford (if not better) than he is Jones which could be enticing for a player like Golladay.

When you are a team as impressive as the Jaguars, you have to put your best foot forward so that you can take advantage of it. Adding a solid receiver (when healthy and playing well) like Golladay can help everyone.
