After the conclusion of the 2022 NFL Draft, the Jacksonville Jaguars, like most teams, still have a few glaring holes on their roster. Entering Day 1 of the draft, general manager Trent Baalke had a total of 12 total picks at his disposal.

But rather than keeping and using each pick, the Jags opted to use five of their draft picks as ammunition to move up to grab several players they were targeting on their draft board, including former Utah inside linebacker Devin Lloyd at No. 27 overall. To move back into the first round to grab the speedy and athletic linebacker, the Jaguars traded their second, fourth, and one of their sixth-round picks to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Following the selections of seven new rookies in the draft, the Jaguars may look to free agency to shore up some much-needed depth. Wide receiver, offensive guard, defensive tackle and safety are all positions the Jaguars could target being that none of the aforementioned positions were addressed in the draft. Many fans hoped the team would grab a talented young wide receiver in the early rounds of the draft to pair with second-year quarterback Trevor Lawrence.

But since the wide receiver position was not targeted in the draft, the team may look to sign veteran depth in an effort to at least add training camp competition. Having more veteran leadership in an increasingly young locker room could help develop and benefit a team that has now selected first overall the last two years in a row. With that in mind, here are three positions the Jaguars may target in free agency following the 2022 NFL Draft.
