The Jacksonville Jaguars have a slew of picks ahead of the 2021 NFL Draft.

The Jacksonville Jaguars finished 2020 with a record of 1-15. The Jaguars had a very young roster with little veteran depth but the incompetent coaching staff is who deserves the biggest blame.

Last years’ draft was okay for Jacksonville but the 2021 season will be a real test to see how the selections pan out.

With a new regime coming in to take over—if the Jaguars can add some veteran depth in free agency, they can easily build a decent team from the ground up again with their handful of draft selections to come.

Jaguars 2021 NFL Mock Draft: Round 1, 1st overall

Clemson. 1. player. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. 879. QB. TrevorLawrence

This pick should be a given. The Jaguars have a lot of needs to address in the 2021 NFL Draft but they have the opportunity to draft their potential franchise quarterback first overall. The only thing getting in the way of the Jaguars making this pick at this point is—the Jaguars. They could overthink this selection and draft Justin Fields instead or decide to trade down and pick up more picks.

Don’t overthink it. Draft Trevor Lawrence. You have a better chance of hitting on this pick than missing.

Round 1, 25th overall

Texas. 851. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. OT. SamuelCosmi. 25. player

With the Jaguars unsure whether or not to re-sign impending free agent Cam Robinson, Jacksonville has to draft an offensive tackle early on to develop alongside their new quarterback. Don’t set up your young quarterback for failure—take every measure you can to protect him.

Samuel Cosmi is among the leading offensive tackle prospects in this draft. He moves around well, has good length, and could a successful blindside blocker for Lawrence at the NFL level.
