Round 1: No. 9 – Mekhi Becton, OT, Louisville

It would appear the Jaguars do not put as much emphasis on helping the run game as most analysts do. I am one who wants to see the team address both sides of the ball with beef upfront.

In this scenario, both Derrick Brown and Jeffrey Okudah are already off the board. In my mind, Becton is a better prospect than South Carolina’s Javon Kinlaw. At 6’7″ and 364 pounds, he is a beast up front and allows the Jaguars to move Cam Robinson inside to guard.

Mekhi Becton would also give the Jaguars the closest thing to a Tony Boselli-like player on the offensive line in nearly two decades.
