Jaguars: 4 O.C. Candidates the Team Should Consider
By David Levin
Can the Jaguars find the right offensive coordinator to get the offense out of the doldrums of the NFL it has experienced the past two seasons?
It’s been less than a week since the Jaguars announced they would be looking for a new offensive coordinator for the 2020 season.
There has been plenty of speculation with more than enough opinions over who should run the team’s offense for the 2020 season. It’s a situation, not unlike last year, where head coach Doug Marrone is faced with replacing his right-hand man to fit problems that continue to exist here in Jacksonville.
It also makes fans wonder while Nathaniel Hackett is helping the Green Bay Packers prepare for the NFC title game what is it going to take to bring in someone who can rectify the situation here and this broken offense.

Team owner Shad Khan wants a winning franchise. Marrone, the current coaching staff and general manager David Caldwell are under fire and for a team that was supposed to start the process of immediately looking for candidates, there hasn’t been a peep out of organization since Monday morning.
I guess that is business as usual when it comes to the Jaguars organization.
Whomever the Jaguars bring in to replace John DeFilippo, who has since taken a job with the Chicago Bears as their quarterbacks coach, there is a chance of more changes to the team’s coaching staff. It’s a wait-and-see situation.
While there have been plenty of thought put into who should become the team’s new offensive coordinator, I thought it was time to put finger to keyboard and come up with my own version of a “wish list”, hoping that Marrone can find someone who can right the ship and brings life back to an offense that needs a shot of adrenaline.
Here are four candidates the Jaguars should consider.
