Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Buffalo Bills: Wild Card Preview
By Billy Long
Two teams ending long playoff droughts square off on Sunday, as the Jacksonville Jaguars battle the Buffalo Bills in round one of the NFL playoffs.
Win-or-go-home football is back, as the NFL playoffs begin again this weekend.
For the Jacksonville Jaguars and their opponent, the Buffalo Bills, the day has been a long time coming. Jacksonville is making the team’s first postseason appearance since the 2007 season, and for Buffalo, the wait has been even longer as the Bills are in for the first time since 1999.

The Jaguars are in as the three seed as the AFC South champion, and will host the game at EverBank Field. The Bills are in as the sixth seed, and final wild card entry.
On paper, Jacksonville clearly has the most talent across the board, and should be expected to win the game. But it’s the playoffs, and the Jaguars cannot expect to just show up and win. The team needs to focus and get back to the brand of football that we saw in the three game home stretch before the team locked up the division.
