During the bye week the offensive line has been adjusted. Patrick Omameh is the new left guard, resulting from Luke Joeckel’s assignment to the

to ignite the running game.
This Sunday, the offensive explosion will meet every expectation for all frustrated Jaguar fans.
Three Keys To the Offensive Explosion on Sunday
First, quarterback Blake Bortles will look to run upfield instead of towards the sideline. This will open passing lanes into the middle of the field because the Chicago linebackers will not be able to get deep drops into coverage. Bortles will be able to exploit the Bears with his running ability.
Second, tight end Julius Thomas is healthy. Olson will be able to utilize Thomas in the short passing game on screens and out routs. Thomas’ size and athleticism will allow him to be open over the middle in crossing and seam routs.
Third, Chris Ivory will be running left behind the improved offensive line. Ivory is the North/South runner that has been lacking in recent seasons in Jacksonville. Actually Ivory should see more snaps against the Bears because Olson will want to put both running backs on the field together.
The time is now for Jacksonville to take control of their season. They have the chance to meet and exceed those early season expectations. Expect too see an offensive explosion in Chicago.
