Jacksonville Jaguars vs. San Diego Chargers: Friday Fact or Fiction
By Daniel Lago
After a tough loss in week 1, the Jaguars are hoping to get back on track against a fledgling Chargers squad.
The Jacksonville Jaguars are boarding a plane today to take a long trip over to the west coast in hopes of bucking a disheartening trend of getting absolutely manhandled by Philip Rivers. The San Diego Chargers quarterback is one of the best players at his position in the NFL and he’s given the Jaguars a front row seat to his skillset over the last three years. In those three games against the Jaguars and head coach Gus Bradley, Rivers has completed 74% of his passes for 962 yards with eight TDs and no interceptions. Unsurprisingly, the Chargers won all of those games comfortably.

After going toe-to-toe with the Green Bay Packers, there’s hope that the Jaguars can put together a solid defensive performance and keep Rivers from tearing up an improved secondary.
