The Jacksonville Jaguars play their final home game of the 2015 regular season today and they hopefully leave the fans with a win as they faceoff against the Atlanta Falcons.

The Falcons’ season has become a catastrophe after a 5-0 start and they are hoping a game against the Jaguars can help them get back on track. With 6 straight losses riding on their back, they need to find a way to get

Matt Ryan

and that offense kickstarted after they got embarrassed in a shutout loss last week to the Carolina Panthers.

The Jaguars were favorites at home a few weeks ago when they faced the fledgling San Diego Chargers, but Philip Rivers came in and had his way with the hapless Jacksonville defense. Matt Ryan is capable of similar exploits against bad defenses, so the Jaguars need to manufacture some pressure to make sure Ryan doesn’t break out of his slump today.

If the Jacksonville defense doesn’t show up, the onus is on Blake Bortles and the offense to continue their hot streak and outscore what can be a potent Falcons offense if Julio Jones and Devonte Freeman get going. Bortles has developed a good rapport with his stable of weapons and they should have some success against the Falcons today.
