2. Dan Quinn was lauded early on this season for getting the Falcons off to a hot start. What’s your take on him as a head coach so far?

"I’m impressed with what Quinn has been able to achieve so far. Has he made mistakes? Sure, but this is his first year as a head coach in the NFL. He’s already helped improve the defense which ranked No. 32 last season. There is a lot of work to be done to this team, but Quinn is well aware of that. The most important thing is there has been progress made at the positions in desperate need of help last year. I think the Falcons have their man to lead them to better seasons in the future."

My take:

Quinn is eerily similar to Jaguars head coach Gus Bradley for numerous reasons – his background as defensive coordinator, his route to becoming a head coach, his philosophy, the facial hair – but Quinn got off to a much better start for one big reason: the quarterback. Gus Bradley rolled with Chad Henne and Blaine Gabbert in his first year and Quinn was lucky enough to already have Matt Ryan. The franchise quarterback has struggled in recent weeks but he is still a quality starter and has helped Quinn out quite a bit in his first season.
