Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Houston Texans: Preview, TV Coverage and Streams

More from Jacksonville Jaguars News

The Jacksonville Jaguars are finally back at Everbank Field for a home game but it’s only for one week as they head to London next week before going on a bye. They have a good chance to leave the home fans happy since they are facing a Houston Texans squad that might be one of the worst teams in the entire league.

Quarterback Blake Bortles is hoping he can pick up right where he left off after last week’s offensive explosion in Tampa Bay. He’s going to have his hands full trying to avoid J.J. Watt, as the all-word defensive end sacked him 6 times last year. Bortles will be looking for the two Allens (Robinson and Hurns) to pull out some big plays and put the Jaguars ahead early.

The Jaguar defense was an absolute disaster last week against the Bucs and they need to step up and stop a Texans offense that has been anything but impressive. Head coach Bill O’Brien can’t decide on who to start at quarterback, but he’s trotting out veteran Brian Hoyer this week to try and get some consistency. The Jaguar defense needs to force some turnovers and shut down Arian Foster if they want any chance at winning this game.
