Prowling The Web: Jacksonville Jaguars RBs in flux

The Jacksonville Jaguars running back rotation may be affected by injuries.

New England Patriots remain at top of power rankings – Jacksonville Jaguars Team Site

"23.Jacksonville Jaguars (1-1) | 30 | Huge victory at the ‘Bank Sunday; gotta keep earning it"

O-zone well deserved – Jacksonville Jaguars Team Site

"A lot changed in a lot of areas for the Jaguars from Week 1 to Week 2. One of those things indeed was the sacks allowed. A lot of people laughed, mocked and ridiculed when I said the Jaguars’ offensive line didn’t play like it gave up five sacks in the opener. It just didn’t feel like the same offensive line performance that we saw a lot of last season. On Sunday, it had the zero-sack statistic to back up that feeling. People will still laugh, mock and ridicule me; just maybe not because of what I say about the offensive line. At least not this week."

The Jacksonville Jaguars running back rotation is in flux because of Denar Robinson’s injury – ESPN

"With Denard Robinson out for several weeks with a knee injury and Toby Gerhart still trying to return from an abdominal strain, the rest of the Jacksonville Jaguars’ running backs are going to have to handle a bigger workload. That obviously means more carries for rookie T.J. Yeldon, who has 37 through the first two games, and a bigger role for veteran Bernard Pierce, who has just three carries and one reception. It also may mean a lot more work for rookie Corey Grant, the team’s kickoff returner who has one carry and one catch in the two games."

Allen Robinson expects to have big games – Fox Sports/AP

"He repeatedly stunned the Dolphins, who looked lost every time the 6-foot-3, 215-pound Robinson out-jumped cornerbacks, outran safeties and outmaneuvered everyone lined up across from him.He made leaping catches, the first over Brent Grimes for 36 yards and another over Brice McCain for 52 more. He caught a quick slant for a 3-yard touchdown that got tipped at the line of scrimmage. He burned safety Walt Aikens with a double move for 46-yard score. He made a diving grab early in the second half that showed great hands and even better body control.Robinson pretty much did it all."
