Justin Blackmon’s time with the Jacksonville Jaguars has been frustrating because he keeps finding himself suspended. The Jags moved on with new wide receiver draft picks and now today’s news centers around Justin Blackmon being done not only with the Jaguars but also possibly with his career.

Jacksonville Jaguars GM Dave Caldwell says Justin Blackmon not likely to return – ESPN

"General manager David Caldwell said Tuesday the Jaguars have had no contact with Blackmon and believe that his 21-month absence from the game makes it unlikely the former first-round pick will play in the NFL again."

Dave Caldwell is pleased with the direction for the Jacksonville Jaguars – Jacksonville Jaguars team site

"“I feel like most of the moves we’ve made have made this team better, even if it’s by just a little bit,” Caldwell said. “They all haven’t worked out in terms of production, but I think as we continue to go it can all come together. The thing for this team right now is there are a lot of unknowns. We feel good, but they don’t have that equity in the bank.”"

Allen Hurns is close to locking himself in as a starting wide receiver – NFL Spin Zone

"As it stands right now, it looks like Hurns will be the “Z” to Robinson’s “X” in two-wide sets before kicking inside in three-wide sets, which will allow Lee to move to the outside. But in a run-heavy offense that figures to turn to Thomas and Robinson frequently (they are clearly the team’s two most talented pass-catching weapons) when Bortles steps back to pass, Hurns, again, can’t expect to have a high volume of targets headed his way in 2015."

What should the Jaguars expect from Julius Thomas? – Bleacher Report

"Bortles will have to be in sync with Thomas, and that’s not always easy. Thomas and the Jaguars will also have to hope that Bortles‘ improvement this offseason, as documented by Jaguars.com’s John Oehser, will translate to regular-season success."
