5 early storylines to watch in Jacksonville Jaguars training camp – Bleacher Report
"Standouts linebacker Thurston Armbrister and running back Corey Grant are at the head of that battle, and understandably so. They came into the roster battle with exceptional college careers and do have the potential and ability to play for the Jaguars. While there are others, Armbrister and Grant definitely have the most raw talent and are the two who, in my opinion, should be the biggest gains from training camp. It’s slowly getting close to the real deal, and making a smooth transition in this time period is crucial."
5 Jacksonville Jaguars training camp battles to look forward to – iSports Web
"The Jacksonville Jaguars surprised a lot of people by drafting AJ Cann in the third round of the 2015 draft. The shock did not come from his talent; he was considered one of the best interior linemen in the draft and was absolutely a steal in the third round. Questions were raised as to why they would spend a third round draft pick on a left guard after signing Zane Beadles to a huge contract just a year prior."
Luke Joeckel has plenty to prove – ESPN
"Joeckel’s points of emphasis for the offseason were footwork, technical issues with his hands, and getting bigger and stronger. He’s up to 311 pounds — a gain of 13 from the end of last season — and he said he gained that weight by adjusting his diet and working in the weight room. He and several teammates stayed in Jacksonville and worked on technique, getting some help from Tom Myslinski, the Jaguars’ strength and conditioning coordinator and an offensive lineman in the NFL for nine seasons."
