Rounding up Jags Offseason Buzz – Bleacher Report
"Part of a San Francisco 49ers exodus, linebacker Dan Skuta has traded the Bay area for Duval County. It’s not always easy to make a transition from two extremely different teams like the 49ers and the Jaguars, but Skuta seems to be doing just fine…“We finally have the guy, the body, that’s supposed to be the Otto linebacker. He’s a big guy. You know he’s physical. You know he’s going to set the edge. He can drop. He can rush. That’s great. That’s the first time we’ve really fulfilled what it should be.”"
Can Any AFC South Team Challenge the Indianapolis Colts? – ESPN
"Not in 2015. The Jaguars are more talented than they were when the current regime took over after the 2012 season, but there are still major questions about quarterback Blake Bortles and the offensive line. The Titans were limited offensively as the Jaguars in 2014 (15.9 and 15.6 points per game, respectively), and they’re starting over with a rookie quarterback who must make the transition from a spread offense. The Texans are the only AFC South team that will challenge the Colts , thanks to one of the better defenses in the league (19.2 points allowed per game, which ranked seventh in the NFL last season) led by J.J. Watt."
Doug Marrone is Molding the Jags Offensive Line – Fox Sports
"Marrone joined the Jaguars in January as assistant head coach-offense/offensive line after spending two seasons as head coach of the Buffalo Bills. He’s charged with helping improve a Jacksonville offensive line that allowed a league-high 71 sacks in 2014."
