To resummarize the GM Gene Draft Criterion:

  • 1. Big men first, big men early, and big men often.
  • 2. Consistent performers/Starters
  • 3. All-Accolades
  • 4. Good Character
  • 5. Team Captain
  • 6. The best rated player will be drafted, whether one has been drafted in that position or not.
  • 7. Senior
  • 8. High Motor
  • 9. BIG MEN, BIG MEN, BIG MEN

All of the players fit most, if not all of the requirements, so, when looking at mock drafts or trying to compile your own, take these requirements into consideration. Don’t be surprised by GM Gene anymore, now you’ll know where his head is and why he drafts who he drafts.
