The Jaguars Offensive Line Still Has Some Work to Do

The Jaguars were hoping the addition of Zane Beadles and the return of former first round pick Joeckel would help solidify the offensive line, but there are still questions marks along the right side. While Joeckel appears to be rounding into form (see below), the Jaguars need to figure out what to do at center, right guard, and now maybe right tackle with the injury to Austin Pasztor.

Along the interior, Jacques McClendon had a rough go of it, especially in the running game. With Brandon Linder taking reps at center, the Jaguars need McClendon to show he’s a viable option to start at right guard. Mike Brewster had a much better game compared to his outing against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, but it’s not quite enough to say his job is safe. The Jaguars need to figure who is going to start and try to get some continuity before the regular season starts.
