The NFL Draft is just hours away, and the Jacksonville Jaguars will be able to see months of work they've put in come to fruition. Having cleaned house and brought in a new regime earlier this year, they'll be looking to find a handful of building blocks to set the foundation for the team's short and long-term future.
Armed with 10 picks, the Jags should have no trouble addressing most of their remaining needs and raise the roster roof. But if they chose to, that's also enough ammo to maneuver across the three days of the event. But Jacksonville trades up or not, it will need to come out of the draft with a haul.
And if you want to watch the Jaguars work their magic, here's how you can watch the draft and the time they'll be on the clock to make the fifth overall pick.
What time will the Jaguars be on the clock in the 2025 NFL Draft? Keep an eye on a trade for Travis Hunter
The NFL Draft starts at 8:00 p.m. ET/5:00 p.m. PT, and the Jags will be the fifth team to pick. Given that every team is given 10 minutes to make the selection, the Jags should be on the clock at around the 40-45 minute mark: 8:40-45 ET and 5:40-45 PT. Of course, there's a chance they'll trade up, and if that's the case, they'll pick earlier.
On Draft Eve, Ian Rapoport reported that the Jags were planning on making a bold move, trading up for the No. 2 pick, which they would then use on Travis Hunter. Of course, they'll need to put together an appealing enough offer to convince the Cleveland Browns to swap spots. It's hard to tell if they'll pull it off, but it would be worth it to tune in early on (as soon as the draft starts) to find out.
On the other hand, the Jaguars could be exploring the possibility of moving down a few spots. And if that's the case, they'll be on the clock later. The New Orleans Saints and the Chicago Bears have been brought up as potential trade-back partners. They hold picks No. 9 and 10, respectively, so they'll be on the clock at around 9:20-40.
