The Jacksonville Jaguars are heading into the 2026 season with lots of talent at several key positions. That said, their roster is far from perfect, and they could use reinforcements in a few other units.
Now, the Jags don't have to press the panic button, but these position groups are certainly question marks and could come back to haunt them at some point in 2026. With this in mind, here are the team's three biggest roster voids before the Week 1 opener against the Browns.

Offensive line
Aside from drafting Emmanuel Pregnon, the Jaguars didn't make any big additions on the offensive line. However, they'll be making several tweaks: Anton Harrison will be moving to left tackle, while Ezra Cleveland and Cole Van Lanen will be switching to the right side.
With Cleveland lining up at right guard, he's paving the way for Jacksonville to plug in Pregnon at left guard. On paper, the moves make sense. Then again, Cleveland only moved because Patrick Mekari is unavailable, and Waytt Milum left much to be desired once he was given a chance to earn the starting job.
When you factor in that Van Lanen is still recovering from a knee injury he sustained late in 2025, there's a lot of uncertainty at the line of scrimmage. But leaving injuries aside, it's fair to wonder whether the offensive line will gel with all the changes it underwent.
Linebacker
Here's another question mark. While Foyesade Oluokun is firmly entrenched at one linebacker spot, Branson Combs and Ventrell Miller will split snaps at one next to him. Both Combs and Miller competed for the job, but neither was able to win it.
The team's brass believes Combs and Miller will do fine when thrust into action, but the lack of a clear-cut answer to replace Devin Lloyd is certainly worth keeping an eye on throughout the year.
Maybe the Jaguars' committee at linebacker will work, but if it doesn't, linebacker should become a priority next offseason.
Defensive tackle
The Jags struggled to generate pressure from the interior last year. However, some of that was due to Arik Armstead's absence while he dealt with a hand injury. The expectation is that his return and the arrival of Ruke Orhorhoro will give their interior defensive line a boost.
But if Armstead doesn't bounce back and Orhorhoro fails to make an impact, the Jaguars will have trouble bringing the heat inside, which will, in turn, make things complicated for Josh Hines-Allen and Travon Walker.
