The Jacksonville Jaguars made a statement in Week 8, easily defeating the Indianapolis Colts and solidifying his place as the team to beat in the AFC South this season. But not only that, the Jags are quietly joining the Super Bowl conversation because they're one of the most complete teams in the NFL. Of course, the job isn't done yet.
As good as Jacksonville has been, we're barely at the midpoint of the season, and things could change from now to the end of the year. Injuries are beginning to mount and will test the Jaguars' depth. On the other hand, Trevor Lawrence and the offense are firing on all cylinders.
Moreover, head coach Liam Coen won't let his team get complacent, so don't expect them to have a collapse in the second half of the season. With this in mind, here's a prediction for every Jacksonville game result the remainder of November.
Predicting every Jaguars game result in November after beating the Colts
Week 9: Jaguars @ Baltimore Ravens
While the Jags just lost defensive tackle DaVon Hamilton and safety Eric Murray for the season, they'll also be facing an injured-marred Baltimore Ravens team on Thursday Night Football.
The Ravens just placed Lamar Jackson on Injured Reserve, and backup signal-caller Tyler Huntley is also expected to miss time. Compounding the issue is that third-stringer Joe Fagnano is also hurt, so Austin Reed could get the starting nod against Jacksonville.
The Jaguars couldn't have gotten a more favorable matchup, and if they lose against Baltimore, they'll raise uncomfortable questions.
Prediction: Jaguars win
Week 10: Jaguars @ Tennessee Titans
The Tennessee Titans are bad; there's no way to sugarcoat it. However, they have heart, showing plenty of fight in the overtime loss to the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 8. However, the Jags' divisional foe has a long way to go before it becomes a serious contender.
Granted, divisional games are never easy, and the Jaguars will be a road team in Week 10. However, they should have no trouble coming out of Nashville with their seventh win of the season.
Sure, the Tennessee defense could make things interesting, but without Jeffery Simmons, Trevor Lawrence and the Jacksonville offense should be able to light up the scoreboard.
Prediction: Jaguar win
Week 11: Jaguars @ New York Giants
You could make the case that the New York Giants are the best team the Jaguars will face in November. Then again, that's pretty much by default. On the other hand, Big Blue could give Jacksonville a bit of trouble.
Even though quarterback Jaxson Dart is done for the year, the duo of Jameis Winston and J.J. McCarthy is managing to keep the Giants afloat, and they're a big reason they're the top team in the NFC East right now.
In the end, though, the Jags should be able to defeat New York and extend their winning streak to eight.
Prediction: Jaguars win
Week 12: Jaguars vs. Titans
After three straight road games, Jacksonville will be back at EverBank in Week 12 to welcome the Titans. Again, division games are always tough, but the Jaguars are in a prime position to sweep the Titans this season.
Tennessee has defeated the Jags once dating back to 2022. If Jacksonville pulls off the sweep, it will be the fourth time in five years that they achieve the feat.
Prediction: Jaguars win
If you're keeping track, you'll have noticed that I predict the Jaguars to win all the remaining games in November and be 9-2 at the end of the season. Things will get considerably tougher in December, though, when they play the Chicago Bears at Soldier Field.
