The 2023 NFL season is still a few months away but the Jacksonville Jaguars, like every other club, have begun preparations. Rookie minicamp is currently taking place and although players aren't prohibited from initiating contact, they can work on their fundamentals and hone their skills.

Eyes will rightfully be on offensive tackle Anton Harrison and Brenton Strange, the team's top two picks in the 2023 NFL Draft. However, they won't be the only players who will have a chance to make an impression on the coaching staff. In fact, don't be surprised if a few of them go on to fill key roles in the regular season.

So what should be expected from the Jaguars' 2023 draft class? Here's one statistical prediction for each one of the 13 picks Jacksonville made this year.

Way-too-early predictions for all 13 Jaguars' draftees in 2023: Round 1

Anton Harrison, RT - Round 1, pick 27: 15 starts in 2023

Head coach Doug Pederson told the media after the draft that Anton Harrison will line up at right tackle for the Jaguars after mostly playing on the left side at Oklahoma. He will be given every chance to win the starting job, so it would be a bit puzzling to see him begin the regular season on the sidelines.

If Harrison shows promise in his rookie campaign, it will be easier for the team's brass to move on from left tackle Cam Robinson in 2024. So barring injury or vastly underperforming, expect the former Oklahoma Sooner to make 15 starts next season.
