No. 4 WR in the AFC South into the 2023 season: Christian Kirk, Jaguars
Wide receiver Christian Kirk had a breakout season in 2022, surpassing the 1,000-yard mark for the first time in his NFL career. As a new addition to the Jaguars' roster, Kirk made an immediate impact by finishing the season with 1,108 receiving yards and eight touchdowns.
Kirk's speed and agility make him a dangerous deep threat, capable of stretching the field and creating big plays. Coupled with his improved route-running and reliable hands, he has the potential to become one of Trevor Lawrence's top targets in 2023.
While he could have been considered for the top spot, he was the best receiver in the AFC South last year. But he is No. 4 going into the season. Jaguars fans are excited to see Kirk's continued growth and anticipate another productive season from him in 2023.
No. 3 WR in the AFC South into the 2023 season: Michael Pittman Jr., Colts
Michael Pittman Jr. emerged as a key target for the Indianapolis Colts in the 2022 season. Despite facing challenges within the team's offensive environment, Pittman Jr. showcased his potential with an impressive 99 receptions. However, he fell just short of the 1,000-yard mark, finishing the season with 994 receiving yards.
In 2023, Pittman Jr. aims to take his game to the next level and solidify his position as the Colts' go-to receiver. With his size, strength, and route-running ability, he has the tools to become a dominant force in the AFC South.
Colts fans are eager to see Pittman Jr. build on his promising performances and establish himself as a true leader in the receiving corps.
