1. Jaguars OLB Josh Allen faces a familiar face in RT Jawaan Taylor

The Jaguars did a good job of keeping together last year's core but they couldn't retain everyone. Defensive end Arden Key and right tackle Jawaan Taylor were their two highest-profile players to walk in free agency. The former had a productive debut with the rival Tennessee Titans in Week 1 while the latter is set to return to EverBank. This time though, as a foe.

Taylor signed a four-year deal worth $80 million with the Chiefs in free agency. Although there were talks in the offseason about him moving to the left tackle, he remained on the right side. In Week 2, he'll face former teammate Josh Allen, who is excited to go against Taylor.

Both Allen and Taylor were drafted in 2019 with back-to-back picks and they went against each other in practice the last four years, so they know their tendencies strengths, and weaknesses well. Now, Allen will be tasked with containing Patrick Mahomes and preventing him from escaping the pocket.

In the opener, Taylor limited sophomore defensive end Aidan Hutchinson to just two pressures. Allen will have to do a much better job if the Jaguars want to have a shot at limiting the damage he can do with both his arm and his legs.

If Allen, along with bookend pass rusher Travon Walker, can bring enough pressure in Week 2, the Jaguars might just be able to pull off the upset.
