The Jacksonville Jaguars have won four-straight games and now sit firmly atop the AFC South heading into Week 8 of the NFL season.

They'll face the Pittsburgh Steelers off a mini-BYE after playing on Thursday Night Football in Week 7. Will that be enough to vault them into another win on Sunday? That's what I'm here to find out.

If you want my best bet for every game on the Week 8 slate, you can find them in the latest edition of the Road to 272 Bets here.

Jaguars vs. Steelers key players to watch

Jacksonville Jaguars

Travis Etienne: The weakness of this Steelers team is their inability to stop the run. Through their first six games, they've allowed 4.7 yards per carry, which ranks 27th in the NFL. That means Travis Etienne can have a big day and help lift this Jaguars offense to the next level. If he's not able to get the ball moving on the ground, they could be in trouble.

Pittsburgh Steelers

T.J. Watt: Arguably the NFL's top defender, T.J. Watt, will once again play a pivotal role in the outcome of the game. He already has 8.0 sacks on the year along with seven tackles for a loss, five pass deflections, one interception, and two forced fumbles. The Jaguars need to find some way to take nullify his talents or their offense could be in for a long day.

Jaguars vs. Steelers prediction and pick

The Steelers are once again one of the luckiest teams in the NFL, as they have been for the past few years. Their metrics are amongst the worst in the league but they continue to find ways to win games. At the end of the day, I have to trust the numbers and assume we'll see some regression from them sooner rather than later.

Entering Week 8, the Steelers rank 27th in the NFL in Net Yards per Play at -0.9. Only the Broncos, Commanders, Panthers, Bengals, and Giants are worse in that stat.

Meanwhile, the Jaguars have begun to find their stride, especially offensively. Their defense has been elite all season, but their offense had some issues up until their impressive win against the Saints last week.

I think the Jaguars win and cover the short spread in Pittsburgh on Sunday.
