Jaguars @ Detroit Week 11

There were rumors before the schedule was released that the Jaguars were going to be facing the Lions on Thanksgiving. They won't, so they'll have to wait to make their first-ever appearance on Turkey Day. The last time the Jaguars faced the Lions, they were embarrassed. That time, the game was also held at Ford Field, and lost 40-14. This won't be a blowout, but the Lions should be able to prevail at home.

Prediction: Loss

Jaguars BYE Week 12

The Jags get to recharge batteries and get ready for the final stretch of the 2024 season.

Jaguars vs. Texans Week 13

This is going to be one of the most difficult matchups on the Jaguars' calendar. They had a strong grasp of the division to start 2023 but ultimately couldn't hold onto it. The Houston Texans wasted no time of the opportunity and seize the AFC South.

Now, the Jaguars will be looking for revenge but it won't be easy, as the Texans restocked an already talented roster in the offseason. Expect these division foes to split the series.

Prediction: Loss

Jaguars @ Titans Week 14

Unlike last season, at least early on, the Jaguars aren't favored to run with the division. That said, they made enough changes in the offseason to make you think that they'll be able to hold their ground. Also, they're much better, at least on paper, and have a more experienced head coach than the Titans, so expect them to sweep them in 2024.

Prediction: Win

Jaguars vs. New York Jets Week 15

One of the biggest storylines ahead of the 2024 season is Aaron Rodgers' descent into madness and whether he'll recapture his MVP shape in the Big Apple. But even if he doesn't, the New York Jets have built a team that should be able to win games even if he's not the quarterback he was through most of the 2010s. Their defense, in particular, could be among the best in the league, but the Jaguars' high-powered offense should be able to fend them off when they visit the Bank.

Prediction: Win
