It took the Jacksonville Jaguars a bit to hit their stride but their offensive is clicking against the Tennessee Titans. On their third possession, Trevor Lawrence connected with wide receiver Calvin Ridley on a 59-yard pass, giving the Jags a brief 10-7 lead in the second half. The Titans then answer back with their second touchdown of the game and they're currently up 14-10.

The Jags offense moved the ball early in their first drive but they stalled out and ended up settling for a field goal. The Titans responded with a touchdown, and the Jacksonville defense showed no resistance, letting Tyjae Spears get into the end zone for a 28-yard touchdown run. It seems like it was the wake-up call the Jags needed to tighten things up.

Following the Jaguars' first punt of the game, their defense also forced Tennessee to punt. The offense wasted no time and took advantage of the opportunity, putting together an 88-yard, seven-play drive that ended in Lawrence's pass to Ridley.

Lawrence has shown no signs of being bothered by his shoulder sprain, going 9-of-13 for 132 yards with one touchdown and one interception, as of this writing. His pick was the result of tight end Evan Engram bumbling a throw and failing to catch it. Ridley has three catches for 85 yards while Engram has four receptions for 29 yards.

Trevor Lawrence was questionable for the finale and was going to be a game-time decision. His status was going to be a matter of pain tolerance. On a side note, Ridley is close to crossing the 1,000-yard mark for the season. He entered the game with 910 receiving yards and the 85 he's tallied against the Titans put him at 995.

The Jaguars need to find a way to stop Derrick Henry

So far, the Jaguars have had no answers for Derrick Henry, who's toted the rock seven times for 63 yards with one touchdown. Add Tyjae Spear's 29-yard score, and it's clear Jacksonville is struggling to stop the Titans' ground attack.

If they want to avoid things getting out of hand, they'll need to answer as soon as possible. In particular, they need to do a better job of wrapping up tackles, something they haven't done today. Otherwise, they run the risk of being eliminated from playoff contention.
