It is here! The 2023 NFL season is upon us! After a long off-season loaded with stories, they are ready to kick off what promises to be another fantastic season.

The Jacksonville Jaguars are ready to move on from their surprisingly great 2022 season. They have bigger and better goals now which is truly exciting.

One of the teams that they have to go through this year to reach those goals is the Kansas City Chiefs. They are the defending Super Bowl champions.

They are also the team that took the Jaguars out along the way. They only lost by seven too which makes it hurt even worse.

The Jacksonville Jaguars are ready to get going in the 2023 season.

Well, it is a new year and it is time to see the Jaguars compete again. They are going to take on the Indianapolis Colts in week one. That is a borderline must-win game for the Jags.

You aren’t supposed to look beyond the week you’re in but they do play the Chiefs in week two. It promises to be a fantastic game between two AFC powers.

The Jaguars can scout that Chiefs team a little bit early. They don’t have to wait until Sunday to get film on them. The Chiefs host the Detroit Lions to open the NFL season on Thursday. They will raise the banner as the now defending Super Bowl champions.

They will be missing some key pieces in their lineup but they have Patrick Mahomes as their quarterback and Andy Reid as their coach so they are dangerous.

The Lions are an up-and-coming team, slightly behind a team like the Jags, that believes they can win this game. A lot of people are picking them as a sleeper team this year.

How Detroit plays against the Chiefs could impact the Jaguars and their game plan for week two. That is why watching this game is important.

This is a chance for Jaguars players, coaches, and fans to zone in on the Chiefs and scout them on the national stage. This should be fun.
