The Jaguars are in a great spot coming back from the bye week

Their next opponent is very good as well. The San Francisco 49ers are considered to be one of the best teams in the NFL. However, they are facing a little bit of adversity right now as they have lost three in a row. The hope is that the Jaguars can keep them down for another week.

A new wrinkle was added to the matchup when the San Francisco 49ers made a great trade deadline deal. They acquired Chase Young from the Washington Commanders. Their defense was already elite with stars all over the place and they went out and made it even better.

At quarterback, the 49ers are probably a little bit worried about Brock Purdy. He is a very good player at this point and everyone is realizing it. However, this three-game losing streak is putting a bit of pressure on the former last pick in the draft.

As mentioned before, the Jaguars have to beat them while they are down. They have to avoid letting the 49ers come in and play angry and motivated. It would be nice to get a lead early and keep it that way for the duration of the game.

This game is in Jacksonville so they have that going for them. They are only 2-2 at home so it would be nice to see them get that going in the right direction. You need to be able to win at home first and foremost.
