The Jacksonville Jaguars have a pair of bookend pass rushers in Josh Allen and Travon Walker. However, they need someone else to round out their rotation, while Dawuane Smoot recovers from the Achilles injury he suffered last year, and that player may not be on the roster right now. Maybe the Jags should consider giving the Las Vegas Raiders a phone call about defensive end Chandler Jones.

Jones isn't thrilled with the Raiders' current management. He was mostly absent from training camp and made his dissatisfaction known in a series of now-deleted stories on Instagram.

A first-round pick by the New England Patriots in 2012, Jones was traded to the Arizona Cardinals in 2016. He then signed a lucrative three-year deal worth $51 million with Las Vegas last year. But his salary wasn't reflected on his play, and what was one of the most productive pass rushers in the league throughout the 2010s, notched a career-low 4.5 sacks.

That said, Jones could still be productive in the rotation. He's no longer the player that earned two First-Team All-Pro designations but he could thrive in a pass-rush specialist kind of role in Jacksonville.

It's important to note that the Raiders seemed to be interested in mending with the pass rusher and there are no signs they'll place him on the trade block. However, that shouldn't deter the Jaguars from giving Las Vegas a call and seeing if the four-time Pro Bowl defender could be had. Here are three proposals they could make.
