It's a brief history, but the Jaguars have had some solid quarterbacks come through Jacksonville

30 years ago, the Jacksonville Jaguars were officially founded as an NFL franchise. Looking back, the team certainly wishes it had a bit more success. But, there have been some good memories along the way.

Jacksonville has never been a homestead for All Pro quarterbacks, which makes doing a list like this somewhat difficult.

However, the Jaguars have had a fair amount of solid quarterbacks. Maybe they didn't all last very long, but some of the guys on their all-time list definitely gave us some good days. Let's count down the top six in this franchise's history, starting with maybe the biggest personality of them all.

6. Gardner Minshew

Although it was short, Minshew Mania was fun while it lasted. Gardner Minshew sits seventh all-time on the Jaguars' passing list, and he gets the nod over Chad Henne for a few reasons. One, Minshew won more games than Henne (two, but it still counts).

Secondly, Minshew 10 more touchdowns than Henne did and in a couple less games as well. All stats aside, though, Minshew was a breath of fresh air during one of the many tough times of being a Jags fan. He may not have won a lot of games, but the guy was fun to watch and fun to cover.

All in all, Minshew threw for 5,537 yards, 37 touchdowns and just 11 picks as a Jaguar. So, assessing the stats, he was more than capable of being a starting quarterback. The organization just didn't have much talent around him, and that was the ultimate problem during his stint with the Jaguars.
