The Jacksonville Jaguars went 6-2 in the first half of the 2023 season. They then had their BYE and are now ready to take on the San Francisco 49ers in Week 10 to start the second half. The Niners are the first of many tough opponents they're set to face. While losing to them wouldn't be the end of the world, it would most definitely hurt their chances of clinching a high playoff seed.

Then again, the Jags have enough talent on both sides of the ball to go toe-to-toe with San Francisco and every other team they encounter the rest of the way. Moreover, there are a handful of players on the roster who had a relatively quiet first half to the season but should be able to hit their stride in the second half. In particular, these three are set to finish the year strong.

No. 3 Jacksonville Jaguars player set to finish the 2023 season strong: Walker Little, LG

You could argue that this entry is a bit odd since Walker Little fared well in relief of Cam Robinson, who served a four-game suspension to start the season. However, Little will enter the second season as the team's starting left guard, a position he's hardly played.

Even though Little thrived on the edge, the Jags had a void at left guard, which is why he moved inside once Robinson returned from the suspension. The thing is that Little had hardly ever played guard before. He had a few snaps in training camp and later on the days preceding Week 5. Unfortunately, he suffered a knee injury that forced him to sit out the last three games.

Little is back in practice and there's a chance he could suit up against the 49ers in Week 10. Barring injuries, he should at last bring stability at the left guard position, something the Jags have struggled with all year long.
