Jacksonville Jaguars 2023 season betting preview: Super Bowl odds, win total prediction, prop bets and more
The Jacksonville Jaguars had an extremely successful 2022 season in Doug Pederson's first year as head coach, leading them to an AFC South title and a playoff win.
Now, the question is whether or not they can take another step forward in 2023. If you want my best bet for them this season, you can find it in my "32 bets for 32 teams ahead of the NFL season" article, which you can read here.
In this article, I'm going to go through the full list of available betting odds for the Jaguars 2023 campaign, including their odds to win the AFC South and their projected win total. Let's dive into it.
Jacksonville Jaguars Super Bowl 58 odds
At +2800, the Jaguars have the 12th best odds to win Super Bowl 58, right below the Dolphins (+2500) and right above the Seahawks and Browns (+3500). At +2800, the Jaguars have an implied probability of 3.45% of lifting the Lombardi Trophy. If you bet $100 on them to win, you'd profit $2,800 if they achieve the feat.
If your Jaguars fans, those odds have to feel enticing. After making the playoffs last season, they're the odds on favorite to win the AFC South once again, so there's a very good chance they'll at least be competing in the postseason.
In my opinion, the Jaguars are one of the best value bets on the board.
Jacksonville Jaguars win total prediction for 2023 season
With their win total set at 9.5 or 10, depending on which sportsbook you look at, oddsmakers expect the Jaguars to have a very similar record this year than what they had in 2022. They finished at 9-8 last season.
I love the OVER for their win total. Not only do they have a young team that should improve on last year's success, but they also have the 12th easiest schedule in the NFL based on opponent's projected win total.
Jacksonville Jaguars odds to win AFC South
Only the Kansas City Chiefs (-165) and the San Francisco 49ers (-160) are bigger favorites than the Jaguars to win their respective divisions this season. The Colts and Texas are in the middle of a rebuild and the Titans are a shadow of their former selves.
It would take quite a bit of the Jags to not repeat as AFC South champions.

Jacksonville Jaguars odds to make the playoffs
At -200 odds, the Jaguars have an implied probability of 66.67% of making the NFL postseason, either by winning their division or securing a wild card berth.
You would have to bet $200 on them to make the playoffs to earn a profit of $100.
Best Jacksonville Jaguars season-long prop bet
Trevor Lawrence MVP +1800
Trevor Lawrence might just be the best dark horse bet to win NFL MVP this season. He got off to a slow start to his 2022 campaign, but he was one of the best quarterbacks in the league in the second half of the season. He rocked a 116.1 quarterback rating in November and then followed it up with a 102.4 rating in December.
Let's also consider the Jaguars have added a heck of a weapon this season in Calvin Ridley. If he can return to his former self, the Jaguars offense is going to be scary good in 2023.
At 18/1, Lawrence to win MVP in my favorite player prop for the Jags this season.
