Jacksonville Jaguars offensive player of the year: Christian Kirk, WR

There are many worthy candidates for the best offensive player on the Jaguars' roster. If you want to go with the most important player on the football field, you can't go wrong with Trevor Lawrence. Similarly, tight end Evan Engram has picked up where he left off last year and has once again been a key cog. On the other hand, right guard Brandon Scherff has been a pillar on the offensive line, so he should also get consideration.

That said, the nod goes to wide receiver Christian Kirk, who's proven last year wasn't a fluke. Despite the arrival of Calvin Ridley, Kirk is still the top target in the passing game. The former Texas A&M Aggie has a team-high 520 yards, along with three touchdowns, and his 53 receptions are second behind Engram.

Jacksonville Jaguars Defensive Player of the Year: Darious Williams, CB

Cornerback Darious Williams wasn't unknown across the league when he signed with the Jaguars last year but he didn't have widespread recognition. His first season in Jacksonville didn't start great but that was mostly due to him lining up in the slot. Once he moved to the perimeter, he showed considerable improvement.

Williams began the 2023 season outside and he's gone on to have a career year. He's already logged three interceptions and returned one of them for a touchdown. He also leads the league in passes defensed with 14. Last year, Tyson Campbell joined the conversation as one of the top 10 cornerbacks in the league. Williams is now making a name for himself as well.
