The 2023 NFL Draft is just a couple of days away, so it feels like a good time to look at the complete order of Round 1. For starters, you will notice that there are only 31 picks instead of 32 (the total number of teams). This is due to the Miami Dolphins forfeiting their selection, which would have been No. 21, for tampering violations. Had the Phins kept the selection the Jacksonville Jaguars would have the 25th overall pick. Instead, they hold the 24th choice.

This is the first time the Jags will have a pick outside of the top 10 since 2018, when they drafted Florida defensive tackle Taven Bryan First 29th overall. It's true that they held pick No. 20 (along with the ninth overall) but they got it when they traded All-Pro cornerback Jalen Ramsey to the Los Angeles Rams in 2019.

The Jaguars had a pre-draft media session and general manager Trent Baalke says that they felt comfortable picking at No. 24. On top of that, the team's brass has already identified the prospects they will target with the selection.

John Shipley of Sports Illustrated and Cameron Wolfe of NFL Media think those players could be Florida offensive guard O'Cyrus Torrence, Alabama defensive end Brian Branch and Georgia edge rusher Nolan Smith.

Don't rule out Jacksonville moving a few spots up if they want to take their guy. Conversely, they could trade down from No. 24 if any of the players they're targeting are off the board. Having said that, don't expect them to pull off a blockbuster trade to get into the top 10 or anything of sorts. With that in mind, here's the complete order of the first round.
